Have been using this one for a couple of days, and I like it a lot!

You PC guys have all of your fantastic free stuff, but for us Mac users this is a welcome release.
Great tone and low price!

I usually end up with the gain knob set low (and watch out for that big low end).

Try it out, you might like it as well!

Ps I´m using the "Fredman IRs" so I can´t say much about the cabs and mics apart from them beeing easy to adjust.
Haven´t done much "Metal", but I get great "classic rock tones" using this sim. Ds

I used the Lite version on a guitar di track the other day. The track was a Fender Tele. Using the clean channel on the sim, it sounded better than anything line 6 had to offer.. really nice sound.

might be tempted

Wow that free version is pretty cool. Love the built in impulse loader.

Pretty much a quick 'get a decent tone' amp sim.

Thank you for this thread guys.
I hope Amplifikation Creme is welcomed here.

Just wanted to chime in and say that I tried out the trial version of Creme and I will definitely be picking it up after the holidays. The built in noise gate, overdrive, and IR loader with movable mics is genius. My signal chain went from Gate+OD+Amp+IR Loader to just an AMP. Not to mention I was able to pull better tones out of it than I have with my previous setups.

All hail teh Creme!!! :notworthy:rock::Smokin:

Thanks for the comment FarBy0ndMetal, good to know you're able to pull better tone from it.

Arie... absolutely loving Amp Creme... it's killer... for my ears, it's the closest sound to the real amp sound that is in my head!
For quadtracking, my new "go-to" is 2 tracks of Amplifikation Creme, one track with LeCto and LeCab2 with 6 impulses and one track with NRRI and LeCab2 with 6 impulses - all with TSE808... sounding great so far!!!

Cheers! :kickass:

I tried this out earlier today and its actually really pretty good! it really sounds "amp like" and with separate impulses it just get sbetter :D

Yes, I tried it a few days ago and still got it sound in my head. Cream is really great and sounds like a real amp. Aradaz this is a great work man. I thought you will do great amps since I tried your green amp.

Yep - and whatever happened to that RED amp you were going to do Arie??? :erk: Not that it matters now with Amp Creme of course!!!

@stilllifer, muckypup1, Scottxx: Thank you for the comments guys, I really appreciated it.

This sim is awesome! Love the way you can tweak the mic distance and positioning! Built in impulses sound quite good as well. Very nice work!

Any chance of releasing this as standalone?? I would love to see that. The design of this plug is really great. Extremely simple, but flexible as hell. Love the different OD styles, the different tone stack selections, the impulse flexibility. Really sounds and feels like moving a real mic around the cab. Curious as to how you do that without having to give away your secrets. Is it just a shitton of impulses taken at different locations relative to the cab?

The layout is very conductive to creativity, which is a huge plus for me.

We haven't planned to release it as a standalone in a short time, sorry.

Yes, the cab is impulse based with some calculation on it...

Thanks,

Finally got a chance to mess with this last night and I have to say this sim is pretty cool.. I used line6 pod tube screamer to Creme with great results. I ended up turning off the built in speaker cab and used some other impulses and got even better results. I also tried out the Amplification Lite sim they have, it is pretty cool as well..

I think if someone released a Mac tube screamer sim, I could finally get rid of my POD
