Amplification Creme

The overdrive section of Amplification Creme functions as a "pedal" in front of the amp.
With the 3 modes available one has a good possibility to dial in the tone one is looking for.

Great rock-amp! I just didn't figure out how to get a decent metal-tone out of it.

I´m not into "Metal" (my "heaviest riffs" are in the style of TOOL, King´s X and A Perfect Circle etc) but it would be nice to know exactly WHAT is missing, in your opinion, in order to get "a decent metal-tone out of" this sim!

Try messing around with some eq and a little of another overdrive sim instead, you'll find you can get some quite similar (and more flexible) results.

I found that running a tube screamer sim in front of the amp with overdrive enabled provided a better sound. It added a little more punch, but I guess everyone's tastes are a little different.

Wow tried this today and has a real amp feel that is like playing my tremoverb with a stack in my room. Couldnt get off this amp sim...really has that modern rock feel to it love it!

Sweet! Still love this thing...question about the external IR loader. The mic movements and selections still function when the external impulse is loaded. So if I have an impulse that was taken using an sm57, and I select the ribbon mic, what is happening? Is it like running an impulse into another impulse?

Edit: nevermind...The two loaded impulses also play when you load an external impulse...you have to turn them off.

I've used the LITE plugin on a metal demo song.
it sounded great for a free plugin and I still use it for quick uses. like when I'm tracking.

- New: Input channel selector added
- New: Cabinet and IR loader stereo mode added
