Amplitube 3.7

Just installed Amplitube 3.7 last night, grabbed the new Jet City 100H and the ENGL Powerball model (called Anger).

Yeah man, it's not too bad. I can't make my mind up which I prefer mind you - I think for this song, I prefer the Jet City. But a mixture of both is pretty cool too.

Whilst you've failed to be eloquent in your statement, you may have a point. I might re-amp these tracks through my Sig X today and do a comparison, because I've never actually put these DI's through a real amp before.

While I won't be as blunt, I will say that both of those clips don't do it for me. But I really like amplitube 3 so I will be checking these out.

Has anyone checked out the amplitude JCM800 sim? I've been dying for a sim that can do that 80's thrash tone. I tried the podHD one and it sounded killer but I don't want to buy a big piece of hardware for one sim.

Dude it's included with amplitube 3 free. Just download that and have a go with it yourself. Personally I think it sounds shit but YMV.

Yeah the free version has the fallowing amps:

Fender Super Reverb
Fender 65 delux reverb
Marshall JCM 800
Solid State Bass Preamp (who the fuck knows haha)

And you get 2 marshall cabs, one is greenback emulation one is greenback 70s emulation.

The Jet City one sounds pretty "big," but when the palm mutes came in, I was dissapoint. Oh wells, I'll stick with X50 and real mapz.
