I just would like to know the real reason behind this release... I mean, what were they thinking at the time? I am curious to know about it so I could have an opinion about this "horror show" (that's what this represent tom me so far)
They wanted to have fun, cash some money, fool around, no compromises, contract reasons, boringness...?

And just for the record... I saw them live in 2005 (I Guess) and Andy joke about his dick after almost every song. I found that a little disturbing. I know they like to have fun on stage, but that was a bit too much.

i was on limited time and my original post only included a teaser of the album. The subject of this new thread is not about the album as a whole (which the first one was). It is solely and particularly about the redone version heard on the clip. Hope that settles everything.

I actually like this a little. Do I like it better than the original? NO! Would I like to see this version performed live? NO! If a band wants to have a little fun with their own material, whatever the reasons, I have no problem with it. Granted some people will not like it. That is just the way it is. Now if their next studio album comes out sounding like this, then I suppose I will have to rethink my position on Helloween.

This is god awful. They must be running out of steam that is what's normally the case when bands start redoing songs and focus them towards other types of markets.
This should be over in that pop music debate on the other thread. But I'm sure here it is ok if Helloween do it but not ok when Lady GaGa puts out her pop music.
This track just sucks plain and simple.

I also think "Gambling With The Devil" is a pretty good album.

As for the song, I think it is fine for what it is. It is obvious that they were going for a more stripped down version of the song and I think it works, for the most part. It isn't as good as the original, but you aren't going to top a great song very easily.
