Andy, are you producing the new Megadeth Album??

The last Mega record wasn't bad. I do miss the days of Menza and Friedman, but we know that will never happen again. In many ways I wish Dave had just gone solo, but he's got a family to feed and the Megadeth name sells records even today.

As long as Dave doesn't try to convert Andy, I think this would be a good pairing. Dave's new lineup is pretty killer. They should make a kickass thrash album, not a million miles away from Exodus' latest. That would reclaim some much-needed street cred.

Hehehe. "Back on the pipe". When I was 16 I worked in a sub sandwich shop. Mustaine and his then wife (dunno if he's still married) came into the shop in full on bike riding gear (spandex all that shit) and he was such a DICKHEAD! Total "you know who I am, kiss my ass" type of attitude. Prick.

Yep Shane they made a great record with the system has failed!
I miss the menza/friedman era too.
Anyway without megadeth mr. Mustaine would be nothing.
I'm so happy he kept going with deth, he said he would have quit after blackmail the univers tour.
The only thing I don't like is the current lineup, they're not as good as the players megadeth had in the past years.

I kind of admire how he maintained his "I'm Dave Mustaine, bitch" attitude throughout the years; even though he's a semi-yuppie born-again, he's still as much of a goddamned cock as he was in '86. I wouldn't want to meet the guy, but it's kind of comforting knowing that at least one such unapologetic, self-centered prick still exists in metal, if that makes any sense. The World Needs An Asshole.
I doubt Andy's producing; "overseas" is a big place, so it was kind of a wild guess, and since Dave likes to have top billing as producer, he's probably going to work with some lesser known guy to act as Second Banana. I think MD is more than capable of cranking out a killer record, though. The last one needed a lot of fat trimmed off, but if all the songs were of the caliber of "Kick The Chair", "Back in the Day", and, to a lesser extent, "Blackmail the Universe", it'd have been an instant classic. I think after all the clunker albums, TSHF was a huge leap in the right direction, and from the feedback on that one, Dave is aware what direction to take next. Should be good!

Word on the street is that Dave might be back on the pipe, so I have high hopes for the new Megadeth album.

Dave drinks and smokes everything and anything if it is within an arms length. Happened all throughout the 90's as well. He quits for a little while and then falls off the wagon or whatever.

Youthanasia, Train Of Consequences, Hidden Treasures and Cryptic Writings suck?!?

I dont think so...

"Train of Consequences" is a song. I like it, but those other albums you mentioned blow - big time. :Puke:
