Thanks man, this is gonna be really interesting. I think I'm gonna try to do vocals on this one.

edit: urgh, the clean vocals :/

I'll try something in a while, maybe I won't be able to do 'em before the first week of January though.

Not sure if my growls will really fit the style of the music but we'll see. :p

wow, you goddamn nailed the tone! great stuff! and you played the drums too?

Thanks for the kind words man.
Yeah, i looked and waited for someone to write down some
rough midi drums on the internet (guitar pro tab sites)
but nothing so, i played the freaking drums on my good 'ol yamaha dtxplorer lol
Obviously i edited every hit after in order to
be the same as in the original recording!

:D

Thanks for the files!!!

I made a quick test, check it and tell me what you think of it..

There are lots of things I have to improve (haven't played with the toms yet..), but you get the idea.

This is good man, i actually like that snare, what is it?
About your guitars, imho i'd cut some mids out but that's just me n_n!
I think it only needs to be a bit more "full" and spacey
I had a nice amount of room mic on the drums ^_^ that helps a lot!

edit: bring those guitars up a bit more!

DI's sound sooo wide and good :worship: More infos please !

Thanks a lot man!!
Well, the thing about guitars start with cool and tight playing; and new string set of course. After that, get your bass sound 'right' and there you have your "full-wide" guitar tone :3!

Mr. Sneap has a cool trick on basses; which consists on running a copy of your
Bass signal through a 'walkie-talkie" device, this is the first time i try such thing
and man it does work! Specifically used the 'SpeakerPhone' plugin to do so. Added a lite chorus for widening and that's it.

On guitars, used my POD xt: treadplate, treadplate cab, condenser mic no room. LPass, Hpass, Cut @400hz, Boost @5,6khz - 8khz. Multiband comp on each guitar track @65-280hz. Used the V30's/Sm57/15%room cab for leads.
