My drummer plays a lot of double kick (metal!) but has only one bass drum...this makes it difficult to trigger well because you get just one trigger signal so you can't really have a different sound between the left and right kick. Is there a good way around this?

honestly, you dont need a different sound between the two hits on a kick. i get better luck myself by recording a kit w/ only one kick. to each his own though. d. braxton henry

Thats the beauty of drumagog, since it randomely uses up to 6 (i think?) different samples. That way every hit is varied and you dont get that machine gun triggering. I normally spend a couple hours randomely detuning kick and snare samples by between 10 and 20 cents, so everything sounds a little more natural. It would rule if drumagog went PT, it would save so much time.
