I asked this question a while back but didn't get an answer..

My copies of O, MR and MAYH (all with bonus tracks) are plain black discs with the same white font used to write the song names. Were the original versions like this because they just seem really uninspired, especially when compared to the awesome album covers.

Firstpress Orchid was blue! But if I recall correctly that was a mistake. It didn't even have the band/album name or tracklisting on it.

Deliverance wasn't greenish grey... it was kind of charcoal gray, I saw no green in it.

I think the white ones are better. I'd love for Opeth to have the greyish though, kinda like the tone of BWP artwork. To me, Opeth is "grey" music.

My version of Still Life has the album cover on the disc :/ Not really a fan
