I've seen CD players with transparent lids. I've even seen ones which are vertical so you can see the CD facing you.

such as mine. also if i do almost anything it makes the cd jump, like if i stomp the ground with my foot 3 meters away from where it stands (no, its not on the floor, its placed on a shelf about meter and a half above the ground) it makes the cd jump :zombie: im dying to throw that piece of shit away but its the only cd player i have

yeah, definetly buy an mp3 player. they destroy some of the songs quality, but so does a port. cd player.
