Another HM-2 test, this time with SoloC and SSD3.0

I was boring so decided to compose and record something

It's 2 min. song only. Tried to achieve BLOODBATH like sound.
Sorry for sloppy playing but I wanted to mix it the best I can and I didn't want to waste time to record the best takes I can

I would love any feedback.

Very Nice vibe and atmosphere in the final mix... Drums are a lot mechanical, but the RAW guitar and the master cool sound saves everything... i wonder could do something like this soon!

Can you post more details about the Guitar signal chain?

This is a cool sounding mix man. It totally has that old school swedish vibe, and although the guitars have that clippy fizzy sound going on, they still sound really big and fit in the nicely.

Might I also say...those riffs are brutal.

The guitar signal chain was:

EC-1000 > HM-2 > C1 gate > SoloC + ThisOne impulse > C4
+ all guitars (4 tracks) sent to a group and then a bit of EQ

SoloC settings - overdrive, od boost and bright turned on, overdrive 9, contour 8, middle 4, high 7

I used Revalver RIR and turned bass knob up to 8, other settings were default (impulse was ThisOne by GuitarHack).

HM-2 settings - level and lows all the way up, highs at 3 o'clock and dist. all the way down.
