yup...here's another little mic-shootout.
I used 4 mics this time, two of them I'm still experimenting with, so I don't wanna tell you what they are right now (you'll probably be able to tell from the name anyways, but if that's the case please keep it for yourself).
I clearly have two favorites in these clips (57 and quartermile), combined (2 tracks each)these are hard to beat.
I really love the m201 as a blend-in mic, fucking awesome in combination with a 57 (I can understand why M. Lewis is digging it).
the 1933 I don't like at all by itself, it's cool if blended with another mic though, opens the sound up and gives it more dimension...on its own in this position...not so much.
I tried to keep the position as similar as possible for this shootout.
