Actually I didn't wore a checkered shirt back then, it's not an accusation, just an affirmation of what I see..... It's funny how every era has it's distinct look, and while this was "modern" to me then it looks dated now. I guess I got old ;-)

I didn't know about the Conan show appearance.
My only complaint from the few times they have been on these late night shows is their song selections. It isn't like I didn't like the songs in general but if you are on those shows to try to bring in new fans, there were better songs to choose from those particular cds in my opinion.

Even though I do have the first three Nirvana albums, I still truly dislike AIC and all the other grunge. . I just can't stand the average self pittying grunge vocalists like Eddie Vedder and Layne Staley. And trust me I've tried. Even bought PJ's Vs and AIC's Dirt. Only to sell them again a few years later.
