ANTHRAX OPENING FOR PRIEST?

Why don't you just chill and be happy one of the greatest metal bands ever, Anthrax, is playing shows with the Metal Gods, Judas Priest?

There are plenty of future happenings that the Anthrax CDC can announce before Blabbermouth. Unfortunately, this wasn't one of them.

I agree, just lay back and take it easy.
Both bands are great....even if Judas Priest needs walkers! :tickled:

The September 23rd show for Judas Priest has finally been added to the tour date page today but it doesn't state who is opening. I hope it's ANTHRAX.

This was on the Judas Priest page today. Maybe I'm wrong but it doesn't look like Anthrax will be there for the 23rd. I hope for you that I am.

We are very pleased to announce ANTHRAX as special guests on the second leg of our US Tour - they will not be on every show - but most of them!
(out of the dates I have announced so far Anthrax will not be perfoming at the Mt Pleasant show on 23rd September)

You have to be lucky though, it seems like Rob Halford isn;t spot on every night, he definately has off days now and then at his age, but here they were phenomenal and he was very dynamic, actually I have never seen him as dynamic before (and I saw him quite a few times with FIGHT, HALFORD and with PRIEST before)

Agree, I saw them twice with Halford and he was good for the first time (reunion tour) but seemed to have big voice problems on the second gig.

Well that kinda sucks...I would have been willing to try out the reunion show again if Anthrax was opening for Priest. That place is only about 40 minutes away from me and it's in a casino. It would have been a good night to sip Johnnie Walker, play blackjack and then catch some metal. Oh well, guess I won't be giving my money to the Indians (pun intended:loco: )this time around

I wonder if there is ANY chance at all that ANTHRAX will be at the Sept. 23rd show? Could it be announced later down the road? I am kinda thinkin about selling my ticket...I can't really afford to go right now. But if ANTHRAX is performing, I'd go.

Well, it says right there that they won't be at the Mount Pleasant show. Even though I don't like ThraxaDonna too much. I would have still checked it out just to gamble, drink, catch some metal and possibly meet some of you Michigander Thrax heads:headbang: Instead, I will probably be home on Sep. 23 pondering why Brad & Jen won't get back together and then later burning Anthrax an effigy:hotjump: .
