JESUS CHRIST. 200+ people packed into a dive bikeresque bar in the middle of nowhere RI. This show was fuckin nuts!! Apparently Judas Priest had a gig in Canada, and them Canadians were very persistant about Anthrax NOT playing the show, so they end up playing their own gig here. Lucky us.

These guys are so fierce. This is the 4th time I've seen them, and probably the most energized. The crowd completely went off, the same or maybe more energy than those 2 Slayer shows. Being feet away from Charlie, Scott, Frank, and John was just too much, one of my favorite bands of all time. Not sure who the new lead guitarist was, he filled in nicely though. The set:

Among the Living (baricade breaks 20 seconds in)
Got the Time
Inside Out
Fueled
Room for One More (slowed down and oh so heavy)
SuperHero (new tune, think ATL meats Vol 8)
Antisocial
Caught in A Mosh
Metal Thrashing Mad
Bring the Noise
Only (the crowd drowns Bush out)
Encore:
A.I.R.
Indians

Kinda a short, maybe an hour and ten minutes, but damn it was worth every second IMO. So damn awsome. I must make note of the drumming of Charlie, is this guy sick or what? Fast and percise as they come. And John Bush has to be one of the most self assured singers out there. Scott Ian, what can I say, he's more metal than YOU or I.

This was *so* much better than seeing them in a big theater with Priest:eek:
