They aren't even playing the south east! Not even like Atlanta. I mean fuck, it's the last time they'd play the states you'd think they hit a few more dates and cover most of the country! Not to mention NY gets 2 dates! Lucky bastards.

They're probably playing where they have the most fans...they may not be able to fill venues in the southeast. Also I should mention that it's not like the band members pick the dates.

I think the tour is bullshit because Slaughter of the Soul was a petty excuse for an album and this "tour" is essentially just a marketing ploy (kind of like the Carcass "reunion" tour). :Puke:

Going to see them in Toronto bitches!

Also, they will be playing stuff from all their albums and EPs, which means I am guaranteed to hear at least three good songs but I suspect their will be plenty more.

Yup. I live in Florida. Not many people go to metal shows here. Metal concerts never sell out venues, even in smaller venues. We're a small portion of the people here, much less than 1%, & I'm not including old people.

Well, people used to here in Tampa.I still do, no matter what. It's just since we had so many popular Death Metal bands come out of Orlando and Tampa, we all knew the band members, partied and went to school with them. It spoiled us, in a way. A lot of people took it for granted when Carcass, Napalm Death, and other European bands would tour together, and assumed they'd be back time and time again. Idiots!! I'm so glad I got to see ATG on their last tour down here back in 96'. Dissection was on that bill as well. And the same with Carcass, both times. They came for Earache's grindcrusher tour,(92)and 94's pre Metallica warm up tour. I run into people years later, and they ask what I've been up to over the years. And when music is brought up, I'll mention some of the bands I've recently seen. They always say the same thing "damn! I was gonna go. I'll catch em' next time!" Me-..."yeah, whatever, man" Hell, Maiden stopped coming here since the Seventh Son tour. They came to Fl a few years ago, only because they were with ozzfest that year.

Actually, Maiden didn't come that year for ozzfest. They had to ditch the last 3 dates for their European tour, b/c we all know they never play Europe. That was the tour where they only played stuff from the first 4 albums too. Man that was a crushing blow.

When they ditched those shows, was it because of the fallout from the Bruce Dickinson and Sharon Osbourne spat? I know they went their seperate ways somewhere around the time they were coming to Florida, just not sure if it was before or after...
