As we have proven this year once more we are always looking for some nice surprises in the line-up. I think we managed pretty well this year.

So do you guys and girls have any tips of some unknow band that could surprise many people? We are always interested to hear your opinion.

Last new release I'm really getting into is Seventh Wonder, their new album " Waiting in the Wings" is just awesome !! From the US Outworld releases a great album very soon now, very powerful and yet progressive metal with master guitar player Rusty Cooley. They also played on PP USA 2 years ago I think.

Soilwork
Beyond Twilight
Dead soul tribe
Devin
Enchant
Extol
Fates Warning
Hubi Meisel
Mind's Eye (the coming album is supposed to be heavier)
Pantommind (if them manage to get the band together again)
Pyramaze
Redemption
Ritual
Spheric Universe Experience
Sylvan
Tiles

I would love to see Anathema at Prog Power (I know they already played there a while ago but still ;) )

else: Into Eternity, Madder Mortem and Gojira would be awesome (talking about well known bands) and Fates Warning (but dunno if thats realistic)

for the surprises, check out SERENITY, its a great band from Austria sounding a bit like a mix of Evergrey and Kamelot, very talented guys, they just recorded a new album now:

Maybe too soft for PP but still very good (but I think Rene, we already discussed this one):
Elfonia

From mr Noren's list I would very, very, much welcome:
Redemption

And zerogravity's suggestion to bring back Andromeda also sound good to me.

And there are also some other bands:
Wolverine, Anathema, Green Carnation, Dreamtone, one of Henning Pauly's projects, TOC, Zero Hour, AtmOsfear, Vision Divine, Shadow Gallery, Opeth, Neverland

Bring WASTEFALL over, they are both Greek and excellent! +1 for Into Eternity.

I also have a non band related tip.

No more Heineken :puke:

:)

Well, I was afraid to mention it, but some good ol' Belgian brew would lift the quality of the festival

Well, we now got swedish size on the glasses.
Next step would be swedish beer.. Nils Oscar's kalasöl!!!

Tips
My Vitriol(Som Wardner is back in business, I believe)http://www.myvitriol.com/

Magic Pie(Norway)
Anekdoten(Sweden)
Trettioåriga Kriget(Sweden)
Nightingale(Sweden)
Biofonia(Italy)
