Anybody here who likes Power of Omens?

Eyes of a Stranger
Eyes of the Oracle was one of the best albums in 1998, an excellent mix between technique and emotion. You can find influences of the main prog metal bands (Queensryche, Fates Warning and Dream Theater) but PoO music is truly original.
I am very impatient about their next album "Rooms of Anguish".
There are some PoO fans here?

There are a few of us here :)

Pending MP3.com getting off their asses & approving the song, a song from Rooms of Anguish will be available there for download. Hopefully they'll give it the green light soon..we were hoping to have the song available already. *muttering obscenities about MP3.com* We're also working on our own mp3 page, which should be a go as soon as we get the site moved, if not sooner.

Damn good album, but the vocals were terrible, made it almost unlistenable, to DREAM THEATER proportions!

   You are consistant trapped!

I also hope that they improve the vocal delivery with the next disc. Is there any word when it might be released?

Well, the CD is scheduled for an October 28th release. As for the vocals... Chris has always been an incredible singer, and proves it on this CD. Unfortunately, his style of singing is not everyone's "cup of tea", so we will never be able to please everyone. For those who did enjoy Chris' style of singing, will be happy to know that he still delivers the same approach, just with a bit more emotion and conviction. ;-)
