Yo,
So I want to do a quick and dirty pre-pro session with a band I'm producing. We have an iMac running PT10 and an apogee symphony system.
Drummer has an e-kit which i'd like to just hook up to MIDI and run through Superior. Problem is the Apogee has no midi in. Stupid, I know.
I have in my home rig a Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 with a midi in Port.
As I understand it I can use the Aggregate I/O to run both interfaces and get the midi from the Komplete, then use the apogee for Kemper, Line 6 pod, bass and vocals for the rest of the band.
Anybody have experience with this type of setup? Any issues? Do I need to clock the Komplete from the Apogee? (which I could prob do with spdif) I'll be able to test it in a few days but if anyone has any insights it could help. Never tried the aggregate before.
