i'm too spoiled by awesome (read: expensive) tone to use this cheap one, i'm going to get a small but high quality cab for practicing and then haul around my main rack system everywhere like a chiropractor's wet dream.

i paid $250 for it brand new like 2 months ago, would let it go for cheap + shipping if one of you dudes wants it. unless i can pawn it off on mormagil like my overdrive pedal, in which case i'll deliver to save cash. :loco:

post samples of you playing through it.

no, i don't have a bass, but my amp is about as crappy as the latest Veles disc, and is there any reason why i can't use it for a guitar?

i don't have a way of recording it. well i guess i could mic it over at my private recording studio (which amounts to my guitarist's garage, full of beer, oil stains, and pirated cakewalk software), but i'll constantly forget to do that. in fact, i don't even remember what i'm talking about already. :loco:

there's nothing wrong with you playing guitar through it, but i don't think you'd want to. you'd likely lose all the high end definition, even if it does have a tweeter. then again your evil twin josh homme used to play through bass amps all the time...

old gil is gonna be eatin' food tonight!

actually i think my amp's fine. i think my problem is my pickups. in any event, something's causing a really loud buzzing, and i don't like it, but don't know how to fix it and don't feel very adventurous. anyone wanna come here and install new pickups for me?

what kind of guitar? if they are single coil (like a strat), buzzing is just a way of life. unless it's some new buzzing or something. i love strats but 60 cycle hum is bullshit.

now for photos of what i want to replace this combo amp:

Hey, sure, as long as you don't mind letting it go for under $3; well, I do make a mean trout supper, of course I'd have to feed you, like, 80 trout, and boning just one trout takes pretty long...lolz boning. So yeah, pass on this one  :o

seriously, music equipment really sucks when it comes to weight. every time i move my 4x10 cab in and out of my car i feel like i need a backiotomy. oh well, at least shit is sturdy for the most part.

yeah 80 trout dinners would be good, but that does not buy me a $500 replacement cabinet. :loco:

 jesustrout dinner

btw yea it's a strat clone, a Barracuda, dunno the model

but it cost 99 bucks and it sounds ok... plastic on the pickguard's starting to peel already though

this just in: i'm a moron who doesn't know anything about musical instURments

well now that's done... but what next? "STRINGS!? what the fuck?!"

what's funny is that that protective plastic shit will fool EVERYONE at some point in their life. i've watched people leave that shit on watches, instruments, phones, etc., and always had a good laugh at their expense.

not long ago, i had the same shit on my work cell phone for at least a year before realizing it wasn't supposed to be there (it was blue, and therefore pretty and deceptive). :Smug: :loco:

well this was CLEAR and thus completely disguised until i thought it was peeling and a sign of barracudas being shit even though they sound decent.

regret not buying tiny little Orange amp that the store had for like 200 or somethin.
