I've been really interested in Ubuntu studio lately and i was just curious if anyone around here has tried Ardour on Ubuntu. I want to give it a try but figured it would be a good idea to ask around here first.
I read that the latest version supports both vst and au plugins which is pretty awesome.
I'm afraid that there will be a lot of compatibility issues with it though. If it works with my Tascam US-1800, then I will definitely be willing to give it a long demo.
Overall Ubuntu Studio looks like the perfect platform for a creative geek like us so hopefully it will live up to my expectations!
