How is the production on this? The drums don't sound like they do on "Nihility" do they?

The production is very similar to Nihility but the bass drum is much bassier giving a "dum!" instead of a "thuck". The guitars are still the same machine-like dry sounding buzzsaw(in a good way) and the vocals seem to be more audible this time. The album is awesome...very very good but still does not meet my expectations...since I love the technicality and speed on Nihility and Winds of Creation. Fortunately, there are way more solos which sound really dissonant but melodic and fits the music perfectly, the riffs are groovier with less focus on speed. Recommended album :)...

My playlist consists of:
Opeth - everything
Maudlin of the Well - everything
Kayo Dot - Choirs of the Eye
John Coltrane - My Favourite Things, Everytime We Say Goodbye, Summertime, But Not For Me
