I like watching chavs pick fights with the local farmer's lads back in shropshire. They always get completely destroyed and they've got nobody to blame but themselves.
Being a chav is not just hanging about in groups beating people up. It's about the clothes and the attitude, the pride in being stupid and ignorant, the racism and the general being a complete lowlife waster. Oh and if you're a girl, having 4 kids by different dad's by the time your 20 is a good start on the road to true chav-dom

In the USA "chavs" would be "wiggers" too. Although a wigger can also be white trash and vice-versa. But there are city wiggers too, but they are mostly from the suburbs and not from the ghetto.
These kind of people are examples of why there should be mandatory military service.

This kind of stuff really annoys me!
If there was ever a reason for NOT having a system where we give housing away to lazy people this would be why, I bet 99% of chavs come from a background where parents won't work and social housing is a guarantee, how are there children meant to learn how to be a responsible person? its a perpetual cycle. Hopefully with Labour and there socialist agendas out the way we might be able to move on and instil responsibly back into people.

To the OP, I'm glad your brother is Ok, it sounds like a horrible experience to go through! lets hope they find these thugs and imprison them, but I expect with our present criminal justice system they will only get a couple of hours of community service . . .

I don't think benefits or council houses are a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination, however they are taken advantage of sooo openly that it is literally ridiculous.
