I'm playing drums in a band now and occasionally our rhythm guitarist uses an acoustic in songs. He really likes my Axe FX II and prefers to play an electric. I was thinking I could setup a tone matching patch with his guitar to a high end acoustic and get a similar sound, without having to switch guitars constantly. Plus, it'd allow us to do some cool stuff in songs by allowing us to have both acoustic and electric rhythm parts in one song live.
I realize its not going to be completely spot on due to dynamics, construction, etc, etc but it'll be good enough for what we need. So, anyone have some .wav files out there with some easier material I could tone match to? I'd much appreciate it!
