Is anyone interested in recording the bass for one of my tracks? it's not completely finished as it is (will add some orchestral stuff when I have the time) but it's ready to get a bass.

link to the mp3 (320kBits/s, not mastered!): http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EL29B2B4

link to midi (song starts at bar 5! half of the song is 260bpm 4/4, at bar 287 it's 123bpm 3/4): http://www.megaupload.com/?d=APQ08TQT

(filesize was too big for soundclick, but you can check one of the older "metalfoundry" clips which gives you an impression of the song: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=801612&songID=8112522)

I once started recording a bass with a crappy cheapass bass that sounded way too bad at such low tunings (drop a#). besides that I'm not a bassist. So if anyone is in for a small collaboration it would be highly appreciated!

You can do whatever you think would fit to the song!

this song will not be used for a release, it's just for the fun of it and as a reference for customers.

Shit son! what did you use for that guitar tone :) that sounds fat as fuck ha!

I'm sure someone out there would be up for playing bass on this!

Awesome tune

no... no programmed bass in the midi file (I uploaded it so you can use it for the timetrack!). I was searching for someone to play a real bass :) thanks anyway!

I'm up for it, i have a 5 string ibanez bass lying here :) and my axe fx bass patch doesn't sound too bad at all :D

I'll do it after college, at lunch

Shit I know this is kinda out of the subject but can you tell me more about the guitars? They sound freakin awesome!

it's just line 6 ux2, gearbox, big bottom, "awesome" impulses.

I lost all my presets so I can't tell you what settings I used (I guess gain at 6-7, bass 5-6, mids arounds around 3, treble at 6 and the tubescreamer with a little boost)

Guitars are only doubletracked.
