For people around here who like all kinds of music, do you know the candian band called The Dears. I really like their melancholic music. Sometimes remind me of The Cure and Slowdive melodies with a lot more energy, more pop music oriented, jazzy influences, but are in fact very far from them because of the vocals. Try them and tell me what you think of it. It's quite had to compare them to something I know. Oh, and of course there is a Katatonic feeling in it according to me...
