If you want a Sansamp style VST, look up the mokafix BassRider. While it's not free, it's like 12 bucks US. And it sounds REALLY close.

Sounds like they used a POD on the bass grit. You can hear it on the guitars - they are flat and lifeless as hell.
I don't think you can buy that from them anymore.
Yep, you can. I bought it in July and it's awesome. I'm quite shocked how much it sounds like the SansAmp BDDI I had. I sold the BDDI.

The strings I have are basically brand new since the bass is only a couple months old and has barely been played...
you never wanna hear about it cause you want a magic instant solution but bass sound is SOO much more in the bass and the player than it is with guitar.
