Alas no, I'm sure I read they were going into the studio or were in the studio. Check out Superjoint Ritual another of phils side projects, heard one track sounds like Down but faster.

I found a down website which is directly related to Phil Anselmo and they seem to think that the new Down album will be out March 26 of this year! Hope it's on time!

Anyways, if you guys are looking for anything Down, especially, but also anything else Phil is doing, go to the Pantera bulletin board. It's in the Pantera board, not even off topic. There's one thread called Down News, it has hundreds (probably in the thousands now, I haven't been there in a few weeks) of posts in it, everything you could probably want to know about anything he's doing, including stuff about his back injury. I mean, instead of searching all over for sites, that one is right there. People there put up all kinds of links to whatever you want to see. It's pretty cool.
