Anyone remember this band?

Guilty pleasure for sure. The music is genuine sounding, having come from the Czech Republic. Progressive, folky sounding death metal with some gothic undertones. This is what The End should have stuck with. Forward thinking metal.

Anyway, check them out if you feel adventurous. No, it's not doom.

I own two of their albums but it's been a long time since I last gave them a listen. Maybe I'll do that tonight and see if I still enjoy them.

anasazi is just well played music. its not brutal, but it has a certain charm that makes it enjoyable and easy to listen to

It's decent, but low on my list of awesome Czech bands. Check out Forgotten Silence and Demimonde (someone here reco'd them, can't recall who). I also like Scenery, although I doubt they'd get a lot of love 'round here. I think there's a few more, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

the only other czech band im familiar with is lykathea aflame.

something about love history though, makes me smile
