anyone tried windows 7 for students? how long does it take? I emailed them my student id today, but this offer is only good until february this year! If someone bought it that way, how long does it take?

probably quite quick, my mate did the same dude. Im lucky, as I use my MSDN. Windows 7 seems to be shaping up quite ok so far IMO

Totally depends on which hardware + DAW you're using and if you're going x86 or x64.

My main audio computer is on Win 7 x64 now.
