Arcane Sun

I would bid but auctions like that sometimes sell CD-Rs. Unless you know that dude/chick/thing, J.?

I've seen people selling CD-Rs before, and I've received promotional copies (as in cardboard slipcase versions, not just hole-punched UPCs).

Either way, I asked the dude if it was a CD-R or missing artwork, etc.

before I bid, if the item is not brand new, I always ask the seller if there are promo markings etc.

Wtf are you guys a pack of jews? $20 bucks isn't bad for a cd that is hard to find. A couple extra bucks is worth not having to hassle with bidding against a bunch of fucktards on egay.

I've paid more than $20 dollars for a CD before. It has to be a fairly rare item that I really want, though.

Arcane Sun is certainly worth $20, seeing that you can't really find it anywhere.

"Hey guys I know where to get this for $20, but I'm not going to tell you."
"No thanks."
"WTF OMG JEWS LOLZOLZ!!!11111111"

I would buy it but I've already got it. I even told all you fuckers where you could buy it at regular price, but oh no, don't listen to the one with the English accent...

In any case, it's very good. It sounds a bit like gothic power metal. :loco:

I even have their follow up. Got it from Doom, and then I burned a CD-R for Doomcifer! Not as good as the debut, although different and good in a different way - certainly I think the clean vocals improved on the follow up.

J. you really need to get Empyrium's Songs of Moors for fucks sake...stop being so dum.

The second one has its moments, but that one is more for prog listeners. I like the first couple of songs a lot.

Yeah yeah Empyrium, I know.

Wait, is that what Empyrium sounds like! WOO-HAH!

I thought their 2nd album never got released because the label went out of business.

Unless you mean that the s/t is a collection of the two demos. In that case, I understand. Pretty great band anyway :)

You're right, the second album was never released. However, I know a certain Irishman who hooked me up with the CD-r, which is the only way it is available. I, in turn, burned it for Doom, who burned it for JayKeeley.

J perhaps you should become the Arcane Sun record company. Ive never heard the second album, is it as good as the first?

IMO, it is not near as good as the debut. It is not as "metal" as the debut, and would be more of an album for prog and classical listeners.

If I ever win the big lottery, I'm quitting my job, and then starting a record company. Signing Scald would be priority #1. Re-releasing the Arcane Sun debut, and releasing the second album would be #2.

Do it. Do it.

I just think that would be a lot of fun. Running a record company without a worry in the world that you would go under. I'd still run it as a business, and not just give money to the bands, but I'd make sure they had enough studio time, and also give them most of the profits from all merchandise.

Ask JayK to burn you the second AS album.
