hahahah well....it can happen to have a trauma and then a phobia in the adult age,for example when i was really a baby i saw another baby stang by a bee with a bad allergic attack and now if i see a bee comin close to me i just go nut :S

that's really bizarre, never heard about anything like that before.
see as a child although my childhood trauma occured at 7, it wasn't until i was about 16 that i realised I had a huge phobia. don't know whether i'd not had it before then... or i just didn't come into contact with circular saws enough haha

oh well it's not the same for anyone..i mean i studied some phiscology and i can tell u traumas and phobias can work differently for anyone ;)

oooh me me me!!! *waves hand in air erratically*
I'm good at being in charge :D

Yeah, you sound like it!

I forgot when my trauma happened... I think I was like 4 or something. Anyways, since then, when I saw a jellyfish, I would come running out of the water as if I was competing in the 100m dash! With water... haha

Ciao carissima, a dopo!

hahaha you got that about me already huh? :p

see i broke my arm when i was seven, went to the hospital, got a cast put on, it was too tight, my hand went black, so i went back the next night and they used the circular saw thing to cut it off. i screamed, the doctor and my parents all told me it wasn't hurting, i carried on screaming, they got the pot off... blood everywhere! the pot wasn't dry to the saw just went straight through into my arm. big mental screw up there. huge phobia ever since. you can imagine watching Saw 3 was a fun experience for me

One of the many things I've got about you already :p

Aaaack. Yeah, I can definitely see where you're coming from with an experience like that. Not like the whole Saw series helped either haha. Or the Texas Chainsaw Massacre!

oooh you have a list of things about me? tell me, i want to know what your detective skills have discovered :p

well no, normal saws i'm fine with, horror makes me laugh. it's literally just circular saws, so the whole 'cutting the head open' scene, and the saws that cut up those pigs and the huge circular saw he uses to kill jigsaw at the end... well i spent all those scenes hiding under a coat shaking, crying and unable to breath.... with my ex who i'd literally broken up with the day before laughing at me :(

A good detective doesn't uncover everything from the bat, so you'll have to wait :p

Oh and frankly... Why would you go watch a movie called Saw when you have a phobia of circular saws? :p You know that they're BOUND to pop up at some point haha

awww but it's about me! i want to know about me!!! haha

see i knew in advance that it had circular saws in, but i loved the first two, so wanted to see the last one. and i wanted to face my fear... somehow facing it ended up being 'hiding underneath my coat'

You know, scientific studies have shown that hiding underneath your coat doesn't amount to facing your fears

Nope. Don't worry, at least you don't go off sprinting like me when I see a jellyfish. Then again, the only advantage at that is that I could beat any world record regarding speed lol
