Hmmm. I think i'd trust the interview more, which blows. I was just playing the sham mirrors for my gf and she doesn't belive me that Hellhammer is a human being - she said she'd have to see them live. Well, at least there's a glimmer of hope there.
haha. his drumming on the arcturus blew her away? play her the last mayhem. now thats fuckin impressive. it never seemed to me that hellhammer gave his all for arcturus. his drumming on la masquerade is kinda sloppy even.

You'd better tell her not to hold her breath waiting for Arcturus to tour. Garm would sooner play black metal again than go on the road (after all he's going to be very busy in the near future). And yes Hellhammer is one of the best drummers around, but in the Sham Mirrors I think that the person who shows his talent and genious (apart from Garm of course) is definitely Sverd.

I did an interview with Hellhammer at last years Roskilde Festival and he said that Arcturus had played only one live gig ever in Norway, so it didn't sound like they had plans of doing a tour. He said that Arcturus is kind of a project band that made records, but never toured and stuff like that. This was of course a year ago, so their plans might be different now.
The best drums I've heard by Hellhammer is the drums on the Thorns record. Especially the drums on the track "Interface to god".
