That's basically what I want to ask, but feel free to comment the mixes as well. These two are songs from my band's upcoming demo. They're pretty much finished but I keep hearing some part distorting through my monitors, but not through my headphones or any other sound sources. Help me out. Do they sound like they're supposed to?
Info: it's melodic death metal with some modern influences, guitars are TH1 highs and Studio Devil British lows. Bass is Podfarm, and drums are S2.0 with Slate samples and some of my own. There's vox as well. I've "mastered" the tracks, but I keep hearing distortion through my monitors on some spots. I would go back to the mastering chain but I don't know if it's because of my system so I'm asking you guys.
