Well, it was my second, after Still Life, and it sealed my fandom, and since then I've gotten all the albums... As a new fan, I think it's as great as the others...
im waiting till i get mayh and still life first before i get delieverance since the majority seems to dislike it.

MAYH grows on me after each time I listen to it still. At first I hated it but now it is one of my favs.
I can wait for Christmas though, I am getting still life for christmas which will complete my Opeth Collection. I have the whole cd on my computer except the last song.

I only hope that it doesn't go like with my kiss-records. I have 28 and miss 3 or 4 to have them all. But I don't listen to them as much these days and I always find something else to buy.

Morningrise is the most majestic opus from Opeth IMO. I recommend you to do everything possible to get your claws on it Dracwell, it'll be worth it

Morningrise is my least favorite, it was my first Opeth CD, too. Not that it is bad because it fucking rules, it's just that I don't feel and hear the emotion that I do on their other CDs.

Yeah the only other band I know that is like that is Tool. Maybe Metallica as well, but only for the first few albums.
