hey guys,

I just recorded a few asking alexandria songs and through them together....
now I am doing this to find my mixing settings so I have a ground-set of how I want my mixes to sound like when I start recording my real stuff.

Problems I have faced so far with this mix is:
1. The toms, I don't know if it is the samples I am using or if I can find a way
to EQ them to make them fit in more.....the first fill sounds nice, but the
transition fill from "I was once..." to "if you can't ride..." it sounds weak
and is very unnoticeable.
2. The Kick isn't very full and Punchy the way I would like...I have
considered blending some kick samples but I just want to see if anyone
else feels this is a problem or if there is just slight EQ modifications I can
do to make it stick out a little more, no in general db but in EQ wise
3. The guitar sounds a little muddy with the bass, I tried putting more high end on the guitars and tried leaving room for the bass but it didnt work out so well....

I used Line 6 Pod Farm UX1 with a BC Warlock guitar, I am using Mixcraft 5 and drumagog for replacing drums.

If you guys can hear the same problems as me, please give some advice to try to fix it, if you can find more wrong with it, also let me know the problem and if you know some ideas how to solve it, that would be great too.

Thanks guys for you time!

its "Asking Alexandria Covers in one"

problem is, Maxbass is out of my budget, unless you have a good substitute in mind...and thanks CannibalBarnes, I try and I use Diamond Plate with Tubescreamer. Very nice tone kinda like Sturgis but I EQ mine a little different then he does
