the Mayan prophecies predict an apocalypse, and Nostradamus had similar visions, but nobody knows exactly what will occur. changes have been happening for many centuries now and the way things are going some kind of disaster is bound to happen.

maybe the third world war isn't meant to be a war in sence of wars that happened so far, but a mental war - a war of world domination by making people "mental slaves".
who knows, there are many variations on this subject of December 21. 2012...
but I personally think it's going to be sort of and end of the way of living we're used to.

what i read is that they calendar finishes on december 21. And on this day, the center of the milkyway will be visible, and in the center there is a black spot(hole or whatever) and the mayan belive that this was one of the gateways to Xibalba(some mayan version of hell)

but i don't think there is any mention of the mayan for Apocalypse or big desasters.

I thought the north and south pole will be swapped by a sunstorm, causing the world to turn the in other direction, causing the oceans will create a 2km high wave, drowning all land and killing what's on it, and something with earth crust tearing appart and lots of vulcanic activity. the ashes of it will get caught in the atmosphere so it will be dark and cold for 40 years.

there are different versions of their prophecy, and yes - planets and stars within our galaxy should align and our galaxy will align with a few others (but that's actually a scientific theory more than a prophecy).

the point is, since their calendar ends on that day it is considered "the end of one era and a beginning of a new one". this doesn't necessarily include an apocalypse, just a certain form of change...

my singing professor is a Libra and she also had a twin. she told me that people who have twins have a potential to have double the energy than people who aren't twins, and when one of the twins die the other gains his/her energy.
I think it's true (at least in her case) because that woman has a LOT of energy...

and I said "every Gemini I know". and it counts for Gemini that don't have an earth sign in their ascendant. don't like those much...
