It is, and it isn't. If there is *any* detractor to the album at all, it's that the flute/whistle tends to be repetitive. But when they're in full-on heathen black metal mode, it's seriously fucking excellent.

When I say "sick," I mean, ruling in (almost) every conceivable way.

i still can't find the fucking thing. seems it hasn't made its way to the US yet. maybe it's on the same paddle boat as the new Mael Mordha, Obtest, Rivendell, and Thyrfing and Black League

J, I guess it's the cost issue for you? Because I ordered right from their label in Greece, and it took a grand total of 7 days to arrive (from order to doorstep).

Also, www.redstream.org has the new Thyrfing in for $15. Ordered it last week too.

J, look above for criminy's sake. You could have both Thyrfing & Heol Telwen for $30 US (or close to it), and within 7 days.

I doubt either of them will be much cheaper; Thyrfing is on Regain now, right? $13+ seems to be the norm for *any* Regain release in the U.S., unless you want to wait another year or so for a proper U.S. release.

Can't say about Heol Telwen, I don't know.

well worth owning IMO, though you BEST enjoy the sound of a mouth harp (I think that's the name of the instrument). Could be tin whistle, not sure. But damn it's in every fucking song.
