even though "Roots" totally spawned the hell of nu-metal, that album is way fucking heavy and awesome. I also went and saw Soulfly on their first US tour and it ruled.

Sepultura was my favorite band for so long... from Arise to Roots I was totally addicted. Roots is a fucking great album, whatever anybody says...

I was also way into Overkill back in 7th grade. "Years of Decay" is a near-perfect thrash album and "Taking Over" ain't so bad either.

Have Overkill EVER played in Cali? Seems odd, they're a pretty big name thrash band, but they never book shows over here.

I could never get into "Rust in Peace" and will always assert that "Peace Sells" is the best Megadeth album
