I'm going to record guitars for my bands new album at home and have them reamped. Examples of the tone I'm after would be The Ghost Inside "Returners" or Parkway Drive "Horizons". I'm thinking a combination of Peavey 5150 (or 6505) and Mesa Dual Rec with a Mesa 4 x 12 cab? Or Framus Cobra if anyone has one? Maybe with a BBE and/or Maxon 808 - I don't have a lot of experience with them but everything I read about the aforementioned bands says they use them to record. I know a lot of you guys do this so if you could post links or pm me with your info I would appreciate it. Thanks, -s

Could do with 3ch Dual Rec, ts808 and Marshall 1960av with V30s. Mogami Platinum Guitar & Gold Studio Cables, sm57.

PM me if interested.

Mine probably won't be as good as the other guy's... but I will do mine free and if you like it, keep them, if not, go with someone else. Would just like the practice :p

I have:

Diezel Herbert (4xEL-34s, 2x6550s)
Bias Modded Peavey 5150
Krank Rev+

Emperor 4x12 w/ V30s & GK100s in X-Pattern
Soldano 2x12 w/ Eminence V12 Legends
Marshall 4x12 w/ Splawn Smallblocks (more aggressive Greenbacks with more lowend)
