Figured this could turn into something cool, a sticky, etc...

We've seen people trade tracks and reamp for eachother and whatnot, why not have a thread to streamline this?

Basically, if you have the means and are willing to reamp tracks for other people, post your gear and whatnot.

I've got:

Peavey 5150
Mesa 4x12 Oversized
Maxon OD808
SM57's/AT3035 -> Saffire Pro

I don't charge for reamping, just request credit on whatever it ends up being used on.

*EDIT* Currently unable to do any reamping - my setup is in pieces and the space I normally reamp guitars in is filled with kitchen cabinetry for a remodeling we've got going on.

I'm still not comfortable enough with my tones to offer reamping. It seems like no matter how much I improve in drums, vocals, bass, I can't get a really solid guitar tone for jack. It's driving me nuts!

That being said I might have a use for this thread in the case of an emergency so thanks for setting this up man.

Good idea, DSS!

Here's my list:

AMPS:

Mk1 Peavey 5150 with Bias Mod installed, running JJ power tubes & 9th Gen Shugangs in the preamp section
Mesa Dual Rectifier with Winged "C" Svetlana tubes in the power section & stock preamp tubes.
1968 Traynor "bassman" tube head, with the original Phillips tubes.
Gallien Kruger MLE solid state head for that "Wasted Years" tone.

CABS:

Mashall 1960V Vintage 30 cabinet
Custom 4X12 loaded with Celestion Greenbacks
Custom 2X12 loaded with Celestion 85 watt
Custom 2X12 loaded with Celestion 100 watt

Preamps
Great River MP2NV
Vintech Dual 72
Ward Beck M480c (Class A broadcast preamps, Candian built)
& whatever the hell is in my RME Fireface.

MISC
2 X SM 57
2 X Audix i5
Apex 210 Ribbon
Studio Projects C1
Rode NTK
Rode NT1
Maxon OD808
MXR ZW Overdrive

.....And a custom built guitar amp recording room. Featuring massive amounts of isolation for extreme volumes & a 10' X 8' Hemholtz resonator for a cleaner bottom end.... this last feature being rather unique & a major factor in my guitar sounds. I also specialize in dual-microphone techniques.

A quick example of my work can be found HERE

A more in-depth listen can be heard on my myspace page. Check my signature for the link.

Anyway, I just wanted to thank everyone who's expressed interest already & I'm looking forward to working with many of you!

Well my last attempt at reamping sounded pretty good so I am gonna go ahead and throw mine up:

Here is the chain (edited 9/16/07):

Firepod-->Cuniberti reamp v2-->Ibanez tubeking or Boss BD-2-->Peavy 5150-->Crate v30 cab-->sm57 and 609 (or dual 57s)-->yourchoice of either tubepre,firpod,mbox2,or UX2-->Cubase or pro tools.

Edit:

I also have a modded DS-1 that rips (nothing like the stock crappy one).

For guitar recording I've got:

AMPS:

Marshall DSL Head
Crate Blue VooDoo Head
ADA MP1 (Original 80's version)
Peavey Classic Tube P.A

CABS:

Crate 4x12 w/celestions
Peavey 2x12 w/celestions

MICS:

58's
421's
Rode NTK
AT 4033's

PRES:

API 312's
A Design's P1's
TL Audio tube pre's

However, most clients bring in their own amps.

Hi Guys, I'd like to know what format you want your Re-amp guitars in? Can I just DI my guitar using a normal DI? OR do I have to buy a re-amp kit?

Also, what are your rates for re-amping?

If anybody feels like doing some reamping practice, I put a couple files in my DeafEar folder on the FTP. I think DS is gonna hook me up.

Damn it is hard to do rock when you are so accustomed to high gain :loco:

Here is my try:
mutant_deaf_ear_reamp_jcm.mp3

I tried to lower the gain but the metalhead in me was too strong so i failed the struggle and the gain remained untouched hehehe  i only removed the usual stompboxes (sd-1 and tubescreamer).
