Hey guys.
I've got a client trying to send me files to fix and he can't get Logic 8 to export a tempo map for me.
I need the tempo map badly.

Can someone write a quick tutorial for it, maybe with pictures please.

Thanks! :worship::worship:

wow. it shouldnt time stretch unless its midi. if its midi, the tracks should have the tempo included in the track. your only option may be to make one yourself :ill:

it shouldnt be to hard for him to create a new midi track and program a click that would be easy for you to use to create one in your daw (pt I assume)

not to derail your thread, but does anyone know how to export a tempo map form pro tools? I need to do it to go into logic.

should be as simple as putting in a blank MIDI region for the length of the song.
Then exporting the MIDI.
Meter, Tempo and Markers should go with it.

It should be the same with Logic, but I've never done it in Logic.

If someone can do a very short screen cap of the process in Logic, I'll do the same for PT.

It's less about the tempo because the song is broken up into sections, but there are Meter changes, some 7/8, some 4/4 sections and quantizing to 4/4 isn't working :D
