Audiophile Crap

Just make sure that you bring shit that you normally listen to too. Afterall, wtf else are you gonna listen to when you get home? It shouldnt hard at your price point to find something makes bad recordings sounds better and not glaringly show the bad production.

a good recording will sound good no matter what. The source is the most important part of the entire chain. Ya cant make chicken in salad outta chicken shit in the audio world.

i went to a record store just now on an outing for a late lunch and had a chat with the owner on some speakers and turntables they were also selling.

the guy was talking out of his ass to the point of blatant lies.

i can't even sum it up here there was so much bs.

besides that they had a lot of cool LPs for like 3-5 bucks ...

things like 2 way speakers are super hard to find nowadays and most speakers are all 1 driver ...

they only sold these speakers but at a "good price" of $299

hahahh ... i used to the sell the old school 12" and 15" ones ... EVERYONE loved them when auditioning them ... especially the Mexicans ... but nobody bought them. They are hideously huge.

Haha, yeah, I think those must've been what Jesse had in his living room. You wouldn't know though, because you don't watch "Breaking Bad" :loco:

Did you sell those in the '90s? I remember Cerwin-Vega being pretty popular then. MB Quart is another name from that era...but they were kinda mysterious.
