Audiophile Crap

Supposedly, these are an absolute tremendous value for the $; a true deal of the century type of thing. Just ordered a pair cuz I needed a new cheap pair of IEM's for the gym.

Paging BRANDON especially.

yeah, you know I just realized that my listening spot is like 4.5' from the speakers ... nearfield Ken?

Yep. Damn son.

and here I am wasting my time with shit ... i can just get those studio monitors ... (in another 2 weeks)
another realization dawned on me ... i have no rack to put all this shit on ... especially one that's crayon stabbing proof.

yea but if your situation ever changes, youre stuck with them. id get something a bit more versatile. however, i dont know how something that cheap can be considered a "monitor." near field is deemed anything less than 5 feet if i remember correctly.

dude, I have craigslist ... i never get stuck with anything.
sold that Velodyne sub in one day with totally dried driver.

yeah, I was 'bout to reco IKEA.
If ya gots the bling, Room and Board is my go-to for high-end furniture.

haha! no, no I was trying to say that if you want something expensive, then Room and Board is the place to get it. There's one in Soho. Check it out.
In the meantime...IKEA

never hear of room and board until 2 posts ago ... interesting as with a name like that i was expecting some good values ... instead I got STICKER SHOCK!

my claim to fame is purchasing the absolute cheapest piece of furniture in the entire store

i think i have a bit of eBay fever again.
just the preamp i scored a few weeks ago sold on eBay from another seller yesterday for $161

not to mention i found 2 other "moving out" treasure audio rigs on craigslist yesterday that were listed for like 1/4 of what they are going on eBay. awaiting to hear from the sellers.

i don't know if you guys know but I used to own a retail ebay drop-off store about 8 years ago with a partner ...
