ive been having problems with punchins on Audition 2.0

I can punch in, but it wont let me merge back, or rejoin the files....

ive read the manual, but no help there.:zombie:

Also, anyway to punch in multiple tracks without having to manualy rightclick-punchin everyone of them!??

Erm... why are you using Audition? It's really a super-basic, no frills program, and something like Cubase would work MUCH better for what you're doing.

+1

All you do in Cubase is set your punch in and punch out, and you are good to go, nothing else required.

i tried Cuase and Sonar.......had some issue on my system with Sonar....and Cubase I just could work around with it efficiently.

Plus I already got Audition, and don't wanna spend lots more money on anyother program.

.....are there no other Audition 2.0 users out there that can help me out with this ?

For the same cash you could get SawStudio basic.... I know I'm a bit of a pariah around here due to it, and I hate beating a dead horse, nor do I wish to step on anyone's toes..... However, it's on a totally different level. If you're having problems with punchins, I'd hate to see what the program does when you need to do something complex.

There's nothing you can do about it. I think there's something fundamentally wrong with the program. I too was a CEP user who upgraded to Audition 2.0 and yes, you can punch in but you can't physically "merge" the tracks back together. Audition saves every new take as a seperate wave file whether you like it or not. There is no patch or anything to correct this, and Adobe actually thinks this feature is useful... Biggest waste of time and money ever, and I've definitely since moved on.
