Post-Mortem Records proudly presents
Seattle’s NEVERMORE finally return to OZ,
Join them on “This Godless Endeavor."

7 years after their debut tour of Australia, Seattle's NEVERMORE return to conquer our shores on the back of one of the most highly acclaimed metal albums in recent times "This Godless Endeavor".

NEVERMORE formed in 1995 out of the ashes of SANCTUARY and have since gone on to deliver six full length albums thus far. All that have equally displayed unique and technical playing that metal fans and critics all over the world have come to praise.

For the release of their 4th album "Dead Heart In A Dead World" NEVERMORE teamed up with producer Andy Sneap (Machine Head, Testament, Skinlab, Napalm Death, and Arch Enemy) and the results catapulted NEVERMORE to be a force to reckon with. German Rock Hard magazine stated fittingly: “This is the masterpiece of one of the most talented bands in present time”.

2003’s Enemies Of Reality received similar praise: “must have album of the year” said Outburn Magazine, Guitar One called NEVERMORE’s newest songs “opuses that often reach dark symphonic peaks”. With performing at Europe’s largest rock festivals including the infamous Dynamo, the prestigious Wacken Open Air and sharing stage with metal’s elite including Arch Enemy, Children Of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, Iced Earth, King Diamond and Opeth throughout their recording career NEVERMORE could manifest the high position they deservedly occupy within the metal scene.

In 2005, “This Godless Endeavor”, once again recorded with Andy Sneap (who not only produced “Dead Heart In A Dead World” but also just recently re-worked “Enemies Of Reality”). “This Godless Endeavor” captures “the most ripping guitar work we’ve recorded”, says vocalist Warrel Dane. Marking his NEVERMORE recording debut, guitarist Steve Smyth (ex-Testament/Dragonlord) joins core members Dane, Jeff Loomis, Jim Sheppard and Van Williams. Hugh Syme (Rush, Megadeth) provided stark album artwork, which according to Dane, “incorporates our ongoing theme of everyone wearing a mask.” Critics and fans alike have all acclaimed "This Godless Endeavor" to be a future classic of the metal movement and saw "This Godless Endeavor" feature at the top of almost every metal publications Top 10 albums of 2005. Terrorizer magazine - "10/10...Album of the Month".

Now in 2006 with the impending national tour of Australia in October/November and after appearing on the main stage of Megadeth’s Gigantour throughout the summer of 2005 in the US, NEVERMORE ask you to venture out, to experience the unfathomable, and to join them on This Godless Endeavor.
