I called Utopia several times last week asking if they had it in yet, and the last time I called was actually told they didn't even have it listed in their book

Blitzy, that is the best recommendation for a CD ever. I'm surprised you don't have record companies scrambling for your services in their marketing departments

To be a little more informative, it is very euro-power metal, but not so much in a bad way. I think its a little overated myself, but still quite enjoyable. Very epic, big choruses, heaps of guest appearances. Worth checking out.

Yeah, I'm not that bigger fan of euro-power metal (which is probably why I found it to be over-rated), but I can still find things in it that I enjoy. Worth checking out.

Dont get it Spiff! It basically sounds like edguy and that should be good enough reason not to get it already

IMO there are only 2 good songs and one of them isnt even on the album but as a b side to a single I think! Thats just my opinion

I only like the VERY good power metal (and that doesnt include BGs excercises in pomposity they have done lately!).

Gamma Ray, Dungeon, Older BG, some Helloween here and there, thats about it for me

Avantasia II is ordered you need to speak to the right people at Utopia. I asked the manager about a whole list of cd's last night he took the list and checked what he had ordered and wrote down the rest to put in amongst the next order.

I like power metal. I just dont like unoriginal sounding 'this has been done a million times before and alot better' type power metal. Edguy's stuff just doesnt click with me. Especially the chorus's. They sound just overtly gay, for lack of a better word.

I like Blind Guardian (all of them! hehe although the last album isnt especially great ) helloween (although only really heard the 2 keeper albums), sonata arctica (WOW!), Dungeon of course, Gamma Ray and a few others, but Edguy.....eek!

I think the album that Edguy released after "Vain Glory Opera" is excellent (can't remember the name offhand), but that's the most recent of their stuff that I've heard. Oh, and VGO is also great - "How Many Miles" rules!

I only like two power metal bands. Dungeon and Anarion.

The rest is shit,to homo-medievil worshipping shit to me. especially sonota artica,oh how i wanna kill those fags,and bling guardian,they are fags also. stupid fags.

I'm not much into power metal either but somehow I prefer the cheesy sword ones in a way. At least they're fun Sonata Arctica suck.

Edguy are pretty good at what they do! I think The Savage Poetry is a killer Euro speed metal album, and Mandrake I think it great too, lots of great hooks . VERY CATCHY! I do think that a lot of Edguy stuff though is very non-memorable like most Euro power metal is.

They are way better than that stupid Edguy band Sonata write some of the best melody lines I have ever heard. Check out the chorus to Full Moon In fact the whole song rules. The whole first album rules! The second album is good, but not as good
