Facemelter is their new record and the cd release party was fun! This was my 4th time seeing Y&T (1985 and previous Fillmore Shows).

Don Dokken played about 5 songs with just an acoustic guitar. He did a nifty cover of Rainbow Eyes. Some twat barked, "what album is that from?!?" in my ear as Don was singing. He was ignored.

The crowd was a bit rowdier than normal at a Y&T show at the Fillmore. One domestic incident that involved a beer getting thrown (women next to me got splashed). Some guy earlier barrelled through and knocked into a girl. The girl punched the guy in the back. Good for her! But the guy thought I suckered punched him. Glad it didn't get ugly.

One fan screamed for Boogie to be played and they played it. Unscheduled and all!

Y&T played over 2 hours. I don't mind Squeeze being played but the Kennemore routine is stale. 10 minutes of the crowd yelling, "Fuck You Phil!" must sell a lot of beer. Guess the Kennemored t-shirt needs a boost in sales.

Setlist (nicked from the Y&T Forum - *TDD's highlights):

On With The Show*
Lonely Side Of Town/Rainbow In The Dark*
