But many of you Prog metal/rock fans will miss him too.
I'm talking about Neal Morse,a mastermind who used to play keyboards and sing in Spock's Beard and in the mega project Transatlantic.No,he's not dead,but he left both bands.A huge loss

I'm glad someone brought this up. I didn't want to start a discussion about who likes spock's or not....I remember it all too well back in my days on the SyX mailing list.

But I've been on the Spock's list all morning commisserating with fellow grieving Beard fans....

I look at it this way: If this was EVER going to happen, NOW was the perfect time. SNOW is the most perfect album that this incarnation of the band could possibly have made. Thus ends the first chapter in the bands history. I for one would continue to follow any band that Nick D' plays in AND Alan Morse too! Those guys RULE!!! So Spock's Beard will continue to grow (though this might give the beard some gray hairs from grief and Stress! Ha!)
