I believe theres a Hypocrisy clone band from Norway (V5 knows the name of them i can't think of it).

I've actually never listened to Hypocrisy, but I love Septic Flesh. Are they really that similar?

Hypocrisy is pretty unique and I can't recall any bands that I've heard that sound exactly like them. Pain is Peter's side project, even though they sound pretty different you might like them anyway, it's a lot more electronic. As for bands that sound similar I can't really think of any, sorry, maybe early Soilwork has that same kind of dark vibe?

That's kinda what I expected, seeing as one of the resons I like them so much is their unique sound. And I've listened to some of Peter's music with Pain, but I got bored with it pretty quickly.
I'm checking out Septic Flesh right now, so far I'm loving it. I'll give Soilwork a listen as well, haven't heard any of their old stuff before.
Rising Moon, earlier stuff. They were a Hypocrisy clone for awhile but are nowhere near as good as Hypocrisy.

I think a lot of old school Swedish death metal has, at least, similar production styles and sounds.
If you haven't heard them, check out Dismember, Comecon, Entombed and maybe some Morgoth.
