Bands You'd Kill To See Live

Turisas, man that would be awesome.

Manowar would be cool.

There's a fuckload of bands I would love to see live, most of which I will probably never get to see.

I dunno, but I'd definitely kill these bands if given the opportunity to see them live:

Blowpeth
Job for gAy Cowboy
Fags in the Throne Room

Title says it all...

Dead Can Dance - Missed them twice. Should they tour again, I will not miss them.

Jethro Tull - Had 6th row center tickets and got called in to work  Shoulda told that job to fuck off on the spot.

I saw Tull once... except that I was like 10 years old! I cannot recall a single song except for Aqualung and Bungle in the Jungle, because that's all I knew back then. I really want to see them again, expecially since they're in my top three now!

As for other bands:

Amorphis
Borknagar
Nightwish
Kiuas
Turisas

And so many more. I thank the gods that I've seen Kamelot before; fuckin' amazing band. Unfortunately, America doesn't get the best metal shows (in my opinion).

Carcass - they BETTER do a U.S. tour like At The Gates is doing
Rapture
Alchemist
In Mourning
Thurisaz
Keep of Kalessin
Agalloch
Immortal

Damn there are far too many...

Sonata Arctica
Europe
Judas Priest
Kreator
Poison
Motley Crue
Helloween
Exodus (Had the chance to see them live a month ago, but that would mean having to drive all the way to Allentown, and I didn't have the money at the time. >=(
Gamma Ray
Def Leppard

i think i would kill dream theater to see them live. they would be cool all dead and trying to play their wankmenship

I like Annete. I guess it's just a matter of taste, but I think she's perfectly capable of carrying on the legacy of Nightwish.

Songs like Sahara and Seven Days For the Wolves fucking own.

Bands I'd kill to see live are obviously the ones that are either not around anymore, not around anymore the way they used to be or just rarely tour my area (or I just haven't seen them yet).

So, here we go:

AIC (with Layne, but I wouldn't mind seeing them with William)
Cynic
Faith No More
Porcupine Tree
Sanctuary/Nevermore
Forbidden
Anthrax (with Bush)
Death Angel (but that's about to happen soon)
Judas Priest
Dream Theater with Kevin Moore
Meshuggah
Vio-lence
Dark Angel
Razor
Sacred Reich
Guns N' Roses
AC/DC
Pantera
Superjoint Ritual
Down
Ulver
Strapping Young Lad

and many many more...

^When did Ulver ever tour anyways? I think they did one show for TV a long time ago in their black metal days but that's it.

Atheist
Sadus
Emperor
Gorguts
Demilich (they actually came to AZ but I missed the show! I will forever kick myself in the ass for that)

Then there are a lot of pagan/folk metal bands I'd really badly like to see. Maybe someday I'll make it out to the Ragnarok fest.

Songs like Sahara and Seven Days For the Wolves fucking own.

Ok, Sahara was amazing. I can't find a full version of Seven Days for the Wolves to listen to. Also; I really like The Islander, I think it's partially because Annete Olzen only sings very softly on it. She's good at that. As soon as she tries to do anything loud or high-pitched her voice becomes annoying to me.

I don't know how long she's been singing for, before Nightwish, but hopefully she'll be better on the next album.

I would kill to be able to see Pantera due to the amazingly brutal pits that they had. I've heard stories about them, and you just don't get those anymore.

Even though they aren't metal, I'd love to see Rage Against the Machine. I love them and my friend went to see them last year in New Orleans and still tells stories about how amazing they were.

Others:
Mayhem
Behemoth as a headliner
Dying Fetus
Benighted
Lamb of God New American Gospel era, because that's by far their best album and they could call for the Wall of Death. It still, happens, just not to my desired magnitude.

One that was in this category was Nile, but I'm gonna see them Sunday, so I'm not killing anyone since I'm going anyways.
